Matchbox 2016: Vuelven las cajas
Matchbox will offer their 2016 range of vehicles in boxes in addition to blistercards! The line of boxed models will be called "Power Grabs" (I can't see why the need for these silly, meaningless names?), and be offered primarily to hobby stores, for which boxes are more convenient than blistercards.
¡Matchbox ofrecerá su línea 2016 en cajitas, además de blisters! La línea será llamada "Power Grabs" (¿cuál es la necesidad de estos ridículos nombres?), y será ofrecida principalmente en tiendas de hobbies, para las cuales las cajitas resultan más convenientes.
I love the idea of going to a small store and buying Matchboxes from a counter, in their pretty boxes, just like before my time. Sadly, these boxed models will likely be more expensive than the regulars (the car itself being exactly the same) and probably sold only in the US. We'll see. I'd be wiling to pay a little more than the usual price for the real cars with pretty illustrations (as I do when buying Tomica online, for instance).
Me encanta la idea de ir a una tienda chica y comprar Matchbox de detrás de un mostrador, en lindas cajas, tal como antes de mis tiempos. Lamentablemente, es probable que estos modelos sean más caros que los exactamente iguales en blister, y que sólo se ofrezcan en Estados Unidos. Ya veremos. Yo estoy dispuesto a pagar un poquito más por que mis autitos vengan en cajas con lindas ilustraciones (como ya hago con los Tomica).
