I think the company behind these used to build Peugeot and Daihatsu cars in the 80's, but those business lines died and the company was in some trouble in the early 90's. Then in 1995 they decided to start producing this truck, based on an Isuzu but with their own Taiwanese brand name.

Me parece entender que la empresa fabricaba Peugeot y Daihatsu en los 80, pero tras la defunción de aquellas líneas de negocio, la compañía se vio en problemas económicos comenzando los 90. Finalmente en 1995 decidieron fabricar estos camiones, basados en Isuzu pero bajo su propio nombre taiwanés.
