I was curious about their maker and origin... And I didn't find that out, but I found very similar vehicles also in Saudi service. These are Didgori personnel carriers from Delta in Georgia! And I mean the former Soviet Republic, not the US State. According to Wikipedia, they use YaMZ engines, a Russian company!
Finally, and just for fun: The Army of Saudi Arabia always parade around Hajj, and you can see some of that below. Maybe something interests you. They do some odd stunts with their cars and SUVs!
