Video from 'The Caspian Report' on the conflict between Greece and Macedonia, whose governments recently agreed for the former Yugoslav republic to call itself "Northern Macedonia". But the move still has to be approved by the Macedonian people.
It was very interesting to learn, according to the video, that the name of Macedonia was decided by Tito to keep the Bulgarians from claiming the territory, since the people of Macedonia are close to them. And calling the republic Macedonia also would potentially help Yugoslavia claim northern Greek territory.
