Justo el viernes me preguntaba si se podría poner el frente de un antiguo tren de Metro de alguna forma en un camión, y el sábado, mirando el precioso catálogo online de Norev, me encontré con una miniatura de algo creado con una idea similar.

Según mi Googleo, fueron hechos por Carrosserie Durisotti sobre la base de dos Renault Master, como modelos publicitarios de la empresa estatal de trenes francesa para el Tour de Francia. Las versiones naranjas, como el Norev de arriba, son de los años 80 (al menos en 1983 ya participaron del torneo ciclista). A fines de los ochenta apareció una versión que se ve como los TGV Atlantique, de segunda generación. Puede que se haya hecho sobre los mismos furgones, no lo sé.

If I understand correctly, they were built as advertising props for the Tour de France, which is famous for the wacky publicitary trucks and vans. So it makes sense. And the TGVans look really good!

These orange vans appeared at least as early as 1983. Years later came the silver models representing the second generation TGV Atlantique. I don't know, but suspect that they might have been built over the same orange Renault vans.
