80 años del primero prototipo de auto Toyota

In May 1935 the Toyota A1, the first prototype car from the company, was completed. The final car was released the following year as AA.

The body is said to be a copy of the DeSoto Airflow, the engine copied from Chevrolet and the chassis from Ford.

Wikipedia shows no source for the latter two claims, but the Toyota Automobile Museum itself says the following: "The chassis and body design of the De Soto Airflow greatly influenced the development of the Toyoda Model AA.".
